Look-alike Meters

...and JR thought Isaac looked more like me. So hard to tell!

JR thought Cali looked more like him! Who knows how accurate this think really is, but it was fun to try. JR and I must have similar genes because 4% and 6% differences aren't that big. At least we know they're our kids!

Grandma Black Visit

I took Cali and Isaac to see my grandma Black yesterday. She's staying in an Orem rehabilitation facility because she broke her hip and is recooperating from that. I've been wanting to visit her for a couple of weeks, so I was glad I got the chance yesterday while my mom was there. Get better soon grandma. We love you!!!

Little (Stinker) Princess

Happy Birthday Sadie!!!

For Halloween we got Cali a Snow White princess costume. She got to wear it for the first time yesterday because her friend had a fairy princess birthday party. I don't know if it was the dress or what, but Cali was acting like a total "princess" yesterday - and I don't mean in the good way. She was being such a stinker! She did have her cute moments, though, so at least I got some good pictures. She's cute, so we keep her even when she has her three-year-old moments :-). All her pretty jewelry and "glass slippers" were thanks to grandma Weeks who gave it to her because she went on the potty. We'll see if that will be enough motivation to get her to do it again, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Oh, and if you're wondering about the huge bruise on her head, she ran right into my parents foosball table and got the biggest goose egg! Luckily it went down because it was really big. Don't you love when things like that happen right before they're suppose to look cute for pictures, or princess parties.

Precious Moments

In case you haven't had enough cuteness, here's some pics I just had to share. What can I say, I have cute kids! JR's not bad lookin' either :-).

Isaac's Babbles

On September 27th Isaac made his first babble sounds: "Ba-Ba" and "Da-Da". Since then he hasn't stopped! He mostly says Da-Da, and when he gets going he doesn't stop. It's the cutest thing, so we just had to show all of you. This video was taken three days after he first started to babble. He's got such a low voice and sometimes he gets really serious and into his babbling. He's such a boy!

Old Friends ROCK!!!

It's sad to say that I haven't kept in contact with my girlfriends from when I was younger as much as I would have liked to. Luckily, that can be remedied by a girls luncheon! Yeah! It was so much fun getting together with old friends that I never get to see anymore. We've decided that getting together is definitely something we'll have to continue as frequently as possible. I'm just glad everyone wanted to get together as much as I did! Hopefully we'll be able to get even more friends to go next time because there were still some friends that we missed. For my friends out there, I'm glad to know we're still here for each other even if we don't get to see each other a lot. Thanks for the chats and ice cream :-).
