Aspen Grove
On Sunday (Sept. 16th) we decided to go for a drive up Provo Canyon to look at the leaves changing color. The leaves hadn't all changed yet, but it was still gorgeous. Plus, the weather was perfect! We went up to Aspen Grove and walked around. I've been up there a couple of times before because my uncle works up there and we've had Thanksgiving dinner twice in one of the huge lodges they have. It was so much fun because they have a playgound and the coolest little pioneer village ever. Cali had a blast playing in all the miniture houses and Isaac loved being outside. When we got home JR and I remembered that it was our seven year anniversary of our first date! Fun Snow College memories :-). It was a great Sunday afternoon. Plus, it made for some awesome pictures, if I do say so myself!
Four Months Old and Going Strong!
Isaac had his four month appointment on the fifth of September and he weighed 17 lbs. 9 oz.! His doctor just laughed and said that he's doing "quite well". We're going to have to buy him a football soon so he can practice for his future career. He's just a solid kid! My muscles haven't quite caught up to his weight. It about kills me trying to cart him around in his carrier. But even holding him without his carrier is still a challenge! I need to go to the gym :-).

Antimony Reunion - Labor Day Weekend
Every year my whole extended family on my mom's side gets together over Labor Day weekend for a huge reunion at my grandparents ranch in Antimony Utah. It was so much fun this year seeing everyone. I think the highlight, though, would have to have been seeing Cali play with her cousin Brianne. This was the first time they'd spent so much time together and it was the cutest thing! They're definitely two peas in a pod. Isaac was really good too, but probably because people were holding him the whole time :-). My grandparents got to see him for the first time, and they of course thought he was a cutie. My grandma couldn't figure out who he looked like though. She said that there's got to be at least one kid in every family that looks like the milk man :-). So far, in my extended family consisting of over 100 people, Isaac weighed the most at birth. Crazy!
Here's a cute video of Isaac at the reunion:
Here's a funny video my bro-in-law Jason (Brianne's dad) took of Cali and Brianne "reading". Yes, my daughter is the loud one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEifZ5LUF5s
